During CASE teacher training, participants learn a wide variety of skills, including modeling the skills of scientific inquiry and design, which include innovativeness, creativity, curiosity, and openness to new ideas and data. During the summer institutes, teachers learn together with colleagues from around the nation as well as Department of Defense laboratory scientists and engineers.
